I have to tell you, it has been a true blessing being able to stay home with Grayson. I am thankful that the Lord has provided for us in ways that make it possible. Although, it’s not always roses and sunshine, the good definitely outweighs the bad by far. Getting to see him grow and change makes it all worth it. If you haven’t seen his most recent pictures he has already changed quite a bit. He is smiling and giggling now. Christmas Day was the first time that he smiled back at us in acknowledgment and every since he has just gotten better at it. I’ll tell you, it melts my heart! And today (12/28/11) was the first time he giggled. I can’t wait till he gets good at it – it’s going to be amazing to watch. Stayed tuned to the blog and we will post videos of him smiling and eventually giggling :) Now this one is huge for us- Grayson has also slept through the night three times since we started trying last Sunday. He is gradually getting better and we are hoping that in no time he will be doing it every night!!
Here are some of his most recent pictures!

Christmas DIY Decor
Here's some of the Do It Yourself Christmas projects I've done! I'm pretty pleased with them :) If you aren't a crafter you should give it a try. It's one of the most fun, relaxing hobbies I have!
This is my favorite project that I did. They turned out great! I took two different sized styrofoam trees and wrapped them in yarn. Made the stars out of jewelry wire and took berries off a fake berry stem and pinned them into the sides. This project only cost about $11.
I did the same thing for the JOY letters that I did for the FALL letters if you saw those. Easy, cute, and cheap project!
Here I took the same three glass vases that I used for my Thanksgiving centerpiece and filled them with ornaments, tinsel, and peppermints! Cost me $2.00 to make this :)

More Pics of Grayson
So the past couple of days have been pretty crazy with the new little guy and all. That means that we're just now getting around to putting up some more pictures. We'll provide a little commentary so you can feel like you're there with us!
Here's our happy, and now more complete, family!
This is Grayson in his going-home-from-the-hospital clothes :) We took this picture as Grayson was developing a new defensive scheme for Tech since the last couple have been real stinkers.
This is Grayson his first night home. His pants are just a little big :)
Josh's Granny came over to the house and got to hold Grayson!
Funny story... this pic was taken at Grayson's first trip to the doctor, which was earlier today. As soon as Angie took this picture Grayson peed all over that phone in the background! Yes, that's right, he whizzed over his own shoulder! Then he pooped on the doctor's exam table. That's my boy.
Since he peed everywhere we had to bathe him! Surprisingly, infants, despite being in water for 9 solid months, really hate baths.
... And here he is after his bath. What a cutie :)
Maw Maw, Angie's Mom, stayed with us this weekend to help us transition into our new life!
GG, Josh's Mom, came over tonight with Holder, Josh's Dad, to spend time with Grayson:
... And finally, Grayson is beautiful and so is his mother :)

Grayson James Holder!
Hi all,
The hospital hasn't come by yet to take pictures, but luckily we were able to capture everything on our own camera!
Here's Grayson getting his first bath. He was, um, not a fan of the water.
This is Dad changing Grayson's first diaper. Yes, as a matter of fact, it was a black tar-like substance.
And finally, Grayson gets some sleep.
We can't believe he's finally here - we are SO excited! Like Angie said in the blog post before, please keep us in your prayers!

Last Update!
Well if you haven't heard by now Josh and I will have a new little boy by tomorrow! I went in for my last check up yesterday morning. My doctor said I really hadn't progress much since the week before but that I was far enough along that we could go ahead and induce. Josh and I will be going to the hospital this evening so that they can start preping my body for delivery on Wednesday morning. We should have a new member of the family in the next 24 hours!! Once the hospital has taken pictures of Grayson, Josh is going to upload them to the blog for all to see. So make sure you check back. Please keep us in your prayers :)
